About Me

Note: This Website was made for my UWE photography portfolio in 2016 and doesn’t reflect my current photography skillset.

Summer Solstice-24 (1)

My name is Brittany Johanne Kline, and I am an amateur photographer.

I’ve created this page as a way to showcase my photography in hopes that the University of West England will consider me for their photography program.

I’m an American national who has just finished an undergraduate degree for Media Communications at Bath Spa University. Never thinking that it could be used in a professional environment, I explored and researched photography from a young age by constantly photographing what was in front of me. This was while what was in front of me was (and is) constantly changing. I’ve moved house more than 10 times, lived in 3 different countries, and visited many more. I found that the best way to cope with the constant changing was to find ways to capture moments before they disappear, through photography.

I love the art of candid photography. Capturing a look, or a gesture, or a place with a feeling that can never be recreated is what brings photography its beauty.

I believe that the photographs chosen for this website are an appropriate demonstration of my skills and style of photography and my hope is that my passion for photography shines through my photographs. With that being said, I know I have a lot to learn and am incredibly excited for the potential to be considered to further my education in photography with the experienced faculty and staff at UWE.
